We found out recently that Gurmukh is here in Portland & her events had sold out. There's still room in a Master Class she's offering on Wednesday, Sep 18.

Yogi Bhajan has described this occasion as a powerful time for the fulfillment of prayers and a time of great blessing. One idea is to write your prayers down and have a place a special box or container that everyone can add to as the 11 days progress. Then, after the birthday sadhana, have a ceremony and burn the prayers, sending them out to the Infinite. Allow the divine healing energy of Guru Ram Das to take care of you.

• Mind and Meditation – Conquer the mind and conquer the world.
• Authentic Relationships – Unfold your true identity in the matrix of conscious relationship.
• LifeCycles and LifeStyles – Discover mystery and mastery through every cycle of life.
• Vitality and Stress – Cultivate the caliber to guide yourself and others through life’s challenges.

Every Fall we have the blessing of celebrating Guru Ram Das Ji's birthday. Known as the Lord of Miracles, Guru Ram Das embodied humility, service, and deep devotion. Guru Ram Das held a special place in Yogi Bhajan's heart. We can look to Guru Ram Das for guidance, healing, and protection. Many ashrams were named in his honor. Yogi Bhajan gave us a special sadhana to do in celebration of Guru Ram Das' birthday....

October 9: This is the day we celebrate Guru Ram Das Ji's birth, when we have a special sadhana of chanting Dhan Dhan Ram Das Guru for 2 ½ hours in the Amrit Vela (beginning at 4am at Shakti House)

Volunteers needed for Simrit concert Friday, October 16.
Want to support Simrit's concert in exchange for a FREE ticket? We need few people to help Sirgun Kaur prepare a vegetarian meal for six people, to be delivered to the band around Noon on Friday, October 16. 

We also need 1-2 volunteers for the ticket and merchandise table.  Help before and after the show, and during any breaks.  by taking tickets and selling items.

We are excited that there is now a class way out there in Hillsboro :). Dayajot Kaur is teaching a Saturday morning class at Yoga OMazing from 9am to 10am.
