Bring on the Miracles!!
Every Fall we have the blessing of celebrating Guru Ram Das Ji's birthday. Known as the Lord of Miracles, Guru Ram Das embodied humility, service, and deep devotion. Guru Ram Das held a special place in Yogi Bhajan's heart. We can look to Guru Ram Das for guidance, healing, and protection. Many ashrams were named in his honor. Yogi Bhajan gave us a special sadhana to do in celebration of Guru Ram Das' birthday....
September 28 - October 8: For 11 days prior to his birthday we chant the shabad Dhan Dhan Ram Das Guru for 31 minutes. This is the Shabad of Miracles. Visit Spirit Voyage's Mantrapedia to see the words and listen to clips of recordings (as well as make a purchase).
If you are unable to make it to the community gatherings, please chant on your own whenever you can fit it in to your day!
October 9: This is the day we celebrate Guru Ram Das Ji's birth, when we have a special sadhana of chanting Dhan Dhan Ram Das Guru for 2 ½ hours in the Amrit Vela (beginning at 4am at Shakti House)
Yogi Bhajan has described this occasion as a powerful time for the fulfillment of prayers and a time of great blessing. Write your prayers down as the 11 days progress. Then, after the birthday sadhana, we will have a ceremony and burn the prayers, sending them out to the Infinite..allowing the divine healing energy of Guru Ram Das to take care of you.

Together they bring over 125 years of yoga teaching experience to share with you.

Want to support Simrit's concert in exchange for a FREE ticket? We need few people to help Sirgun Kaur prepare a vegetarian meal for six people, to be delivered to the band around Noon on Friday, October 16.
We also need 1-2 volunteers for the ticket and merchandise table. Help before and after the show, and during any breaks. by taking tickets and selling items.
