Teacher Training begins on Sep 30
“It doesn’t matter how much I teach you, how much you learn. The role of a teacher is to elevate another person.” Yogi Bhajan
Back in the “old days,” there were no teacher training programs, Yogi Bhajan would simply say to someone that they were ready to teach, or that they should go start a center in a certain city. As the times changed, so did the methods. The Aquarian Age is one which requires the transformative nature of these teachings. Teacher trainings were not only created, but were painstakingly written in great detail with strong guidelines that honor the way the teachings are to be passed on and not changed.
Often times, it may feel like “hearing a call,” when we feel we are meant to take a Kundalini Yoga teacher training. Our inner voice is saying ”Yes, Yes!” Perhaps our soul is asking “Won’t you please follow this?” I have a friend who describes sitting in a yoga class and at the end the teacher shared the information to everyone about an upcoming teacher training. For her, it felt as if the whole time, every word was delivered just to her, spoken for her ears and heart.
When I called Sevak Singh Khalsa to ask about some details, his voice felt instantly calming to me. I sensed an openness, a wisdom, and no pressure at all to sign up. Deciding to do something that was purely for me, and led my own guidance was one of the BEST things I have done in my life. Later, the real treasure was revealed to me: a teacher lives serving others. The magic lies in elevating others as they experience themselves.
Sat Nam & Best Wishes on your journey,
