Kundalini Yoga Portland has a few new faces on the Panj these days! Don't know what the Panj is? Well, let us enlighten you!The Panj is the term we use for our board of directors. The word panj is the Punjabi word for five. There are usually five members on the board but sometimes in the past there have been just three. Right now we have six: the more the merrier! At our October meeting we thanked Hardev Kaur for her wonderful service to the panj for the past 4 years and as president during the last 2. We wish you well & are glad you will remain a part of the community here in Portland.
At our last meeting we answered the question "What does it mean to be on the Panj?"

To weave and hold vibration of the community
Take responsibility for serving community and getting things done,
Be an example
To connect with others in a higher space
Be non-judgmental
To plan community events
Events are a tool to facilitate coming together in transparency
Wahe! We hope to see you soon and connect with you - maybe at a class or community event (like Bowling in Bana coming up this weekend) or at a Panj meeting (next one is November 25). Check the calendar for details on both events.
