Our dear beloved Holy Kaur passed Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 5:23 AM during morning banis. She was peaceful and surrounded by family and friends. Holy Kaur touched so many lives...she will live on in our hearts forever. Many blessings to Hari Dass Singh Khalsa and the family.

We chant akal to send spirits through the ethers and to union with the Divine. This takes 17 days, so you can chant akal anytime between now and October 13.
In addition, for 17 days (Sep 27 - Oct 13) family and community will be chanting Dhan Dhan Ram Das Guru for 31 minutes & Kirtan Sohila beginning at 7:30 PM. This will be at Hari Dass & Holy Kaur's home in Lake Oswego (address above). Parking may be limited - you may have to park at the top of the hill and walk down.
The community will still continue to chant Dhan Dhan Ram Das Guru at each others' homes for this 11 day period leading up to Guru Ram Das' birthday. Please check the calendar for updated locations and times, as a few have shifted to be held at Hari Dass' home at 7:30 PM.
