Midday classes begin

Beginning on Dec 3 Mandala Yoga is adding a new time-slot: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:15pm-1:30pm with GuruSurya. It's an opportunity to reboot in the middle of the day.

Come together on Sunday, December 8 to sit at the feet of the Master: Yogi Bhajan. We will watch a video of a lecture he gave to teachers entitled "The Grace of Kundalini Yoga".

Yogi Bhajan has described this occasion as a powerful time for the fulfillment of prayers and a time of great blessing. One idea is to write your prayers down and have a place a special box or container that everyone can add to as the 11 days progress. Then, after the birthday sadhana, have a ceremony and burn the prayers, sending them out to the Infinite. Allow the divine healing energy of Guru Ram Das to take care of you.

These will be drug and alcohol free events held on the 4th weekend of the month {except this month!}. If you are able to, please bring nourishing vegan food to share.

Since August 24 is Day 10 of our Eleven Evenings of chanting for Yogi Bhajan's birthday, the plan is to have the potluck from 4pm - 7pm followed by the 31 minutes of Guru Ram Das chanting.

July potluck moves to Milwaukie

Hari Dass and Ad Purkh have kindly offered to host this month's community potluck. And they have Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boards and kayaks to borrow! Of course you can bring your own boat or board if you have one... Did we mention that they live on the Willamette River?!? Come splash around or relax on the shore from 2pm on-wards.

!PLEASE NOTE: We will NOT be at Laurelhurst Park, but will instead be at Hari Dass & Ad Purkh's home in Milwaukie.
