We are all a little bit nervous before our first White Tantric Yoga course... It's totally natural and you are not alone!
If you've got questions,
if you would like to get some tips from a seasoned veteran of WTY on everything from finding a partner to keeping up,
if you need some white clothes,
if you want to practice putting a turban on your head (it's critical that your head from hairline to hairline is covered during the course)....
come to Sat Nam Studios (1731 NE 58th ave, Portland, Oregon 97213) on Saturday, March 31!

Here's the game plan:
~11:30 - bring your own lunch and spend some time connecting with other yogis while you eat :) social time! build community!

~12:30 TURBAN TYING workshop - $7-11

~1:30 POP-UP SHOP OPENS....take a break (or keep practicing turbans/buying fabric)

~2pm - PREPARE FOR WTY WORKSHOP: BREAK THE MASK. $11-22

~4:30 break (have a snack!) / Q&A about WTY

5 - 7pm class at Sat Nam Studios , ending with the Full Moon Healing Circle

A NOTE ON THIS YEAR'S PRICING:
The organization that oversees WTY worldwide, Humanology and Health Science Inc., have requested that all local organizers use Eventbrite for registering. Hardev Kaur has been the organizer for Portland WTY events for many years now. She has worked hard to make the course as affordable as possible, even as the prices we are asked to charge have increased. There are options for those who need financial assistance as we do have limited scholarships available. Please contact Hardev to discuss.

Why meditate? How do breath, posture and mantra come together to provide a deep experience? In this all-levels workshop we'll be exploring these questions and learning a bit about how the mind works. Gain techniques to tame the “monkey mind” for deeper meditation. Get the low-down on all those funky eye gazes used in Kundalini Yoga. There will be time to answer questions about White Tantric Yoga.
We'll practice different meditations and discuss the importance of daily practice (sadhana). Because, let's face it: we ARE our habits. Want to change? Change your habits. Having a daily practice of yoga and meditation will serve you immensely!! Workshop Bonus Feature: We will practice Breath Walk - Yogi Bhajan called Breathwalk "The ultimate fitness program for everyone in the Aquarian Age."

Join us for a healing Gong Meditation this Mother's Day, a beautiful opportunity for mothers and their families to share in a unique, healing experience, or for individuals doing healing work around the divine feminine in their life. Our experience will include guided stretching, breath work, a generous immersion of gong and a beautiful, integrative Kundalini Yoga meditation. This experience is appropriate for adults and youth age 9 and older, of all yoga levels, including pregnant women and those who have never done yoga before.

It's not too late to register for White Tantric Yoga!! The course is Saturday and is held at the Oregon Convention Center.
